In this paper, we have successfully fabricated stretchable wearable patch with minimally invasive microneedle biosensor for continuous glucose monitoring in interstitial fluid (ISF). In order to minimize the impact of external forces on the microneedle, we used hard-polydimethylsiloxane (hard-PDMS) and designed a horseshoe-shaped hole around the microneedle. To obtain the sensitivity of glucose detection, reduced graphene oxide (rGO) was coated on working electrode due to unique properties such as conductivity and functional group which was used to immobilize enzyme. Next, platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) and glucose oxidase (GOx) was coated sequentially. The fabricated microneedle glucose sensor showed excellent sensitivity of 279.4 µA/mM·cm2 , limit of detection as 1.192 µM. In addition, the fabricated sensor can measure up to glucose concentration of 25 mM.
